In order to reject hate we must first acknowledge its existence. To be blissfully anaware would be admitting defeat. Rather, we should transfer that hate into love. This takes energy, and if we want to leave more love than hate, then we need to give some of ourselves. This is the ultimate goal: to leave more love in this world than was here when we arrived.
